TANCET 2013 Registration

The candidates can register for the TANCET entrance test in any one of the modes given below :

a. Spot Registration :

Candidates can appear in person at the Co – ordinating Centres shown under item 8 with the following documents :

• Copy of X Std. or equivalent mark sheet
• Copy of XII Std. mark sheet or 3 years Diploma certificate
• Cash ( or ) Demand Draft.
• The SC / SCA / ST candidates belonging to Tamilnadu have to produce a copy of the permanent community certificate ( card format ) for availing fee concession.

b. Internet Registration :(how to get tancet 2013 application form online )

Candidates can register through internet by filling up the application form, downloading it and send it to the address shown under item 10 with the following enclosed :

• Copy of X Std. or equivalent mark sheet
• Copy of XII Std. mark sheet or 3 years Diploma certificate
• Demand Draft.
• An attested copy of the permanent community certificate ( card format ) issued by the competent authority of Government of Tamilnadu ( for SC / SCA / ST candidates belonging to Tamilnadu ).

TANCET 2013 Exam Fee

For candidates who register in person, a demand draft for  500/- (  250/- for SC / SCA / ST candidates belonging to Tamilnadu ) drawn in favour of “The Director,Entrance Examinations, Anna University,” payable at Chennai, obtained from any Nationalised Bank drawn on or after Second Week of Januray, 2013 or cash, should be submitted along with the filled in application, as the entrance test fee for any one of the programs M.B.A. ( or ) M.C.A. ( or ) M.E. / M.Tech. / M.Arch. / M.Plan.

Anna University TANCET 2013 application form is common for all the three entrance tests. Candidates have to submit only one TANCET 2013 application form.

A candidate applying for more than one program has to pay  500/- (  250/- for SC / SCA / ST candidates belonging to Tamilnadu ) for each additional program. A single demand draft is sufficient for one or more programs.

REVALUATION PROCEDURE MAY/JUNE 2012 

B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch. EXAMINATIONS

1. All the candidates  irrespective of the  GRADE/MARK secured in the  University Examinations can apply for Revaluation.

2. To apply, a student can opt for any one of the following two options:

     Option 1: Apply for  Revaluation only with a fee of Rs.400/- per  script.

   

            Option  2:  Apply for  Photocopy–cum–Revaluation with a fee of  Rs.700/- per script.

3. Only Candidates who have applied for Photocopy-cum-Revaluation are eligible  U for the Review for their answer script (by remitting the prescribed fee) only  after the Publication of the Revaluation Results, if not satisfied with the revalued  results.  Those who have applied only for Revaluation U U are not eligible U for the  U review of their answer scripts. The details of the  Review  U Procedure U will be  announced along with their revaluation results.

4. Photocopying and Revaluation work are being carried  out simultaneously.  If  any discrepancy is noticed  in the valuation after getting the Photocopy, the  same may be brought to the notice of the Controller of Examinations through  their respective Colleges within 3 days from  the date of receipt of the  Photocopy.

5. Separate application has been prescribed for Revaluation and  Photocopy-cum-Revaluation. The applications may be obtained from the Office  of the Principal of the College."

The last date for applying for Revaluation is 29-08-2012

and the students can apply from 23-08-2012 onwards.

Earlier the result were to be published on or before 15 th of august.Since the university were unable to upload ,the results can be published at any time.Dont believe in dates that various websites gives out ,all are assumptions .They do not know when the results will be .

Expect results at any time.

No specific inputs on whether all results will be published together or not.Sometimes only results of 8th sem will be published first then only mba ,and other sem results.Expect anytime.

EDC RE-Exam to be rescheduled on july 31(NO official announcement has been made)

I saw one of my visitor commented that there was a reschedule of university exam for the subject "Electronic device and circuit".Depending on the details it can be said that:

1)The Exam For EC2151 electronic device and circuit will be re conducted. 

2)The exam is planned to be on July 31.

Note:No official announcement has come so far.

3)For 2012  Pass out Result awaiting students:The results will not be delayed is what mentioned.But so far no official announcement has come.

News From Hindu:

Students in affiliated colleges of Anna University, eagerly awaiting their first year (second semester results) will have to take the exam in one subject all over again.

The University has asked all colleges under it to conduct the ‘Electronic Device and Circuits’ examination on July 31. Teachers and students suspect the reason could be a possible question paper leak. The examination was held on June 29, and was the last paper for the second semester students. Students of computer science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Bio-medical engineering took the exam.

“The paper was available on the internet at around 10 .30 p.m. on the night before the exam. The exam code was also visible,” says a student who adds that only those who had spotted it online could have benefited. “When we heard of it, we thought it was a joke. But the paper next day was exactly the same,” says a student. Senior professors said they came to know of the leak only after the exam. “We were the last ones to know but the students knew it,” says a principal of a self-financing college.

The subject, EDC, is considered tougher than most other subjects, and many students end up with arrears. “It is also the one of the first core subjects students study,” said K S Babai, principal, Meenakshi Sundararajan Engineering College. Extra classes to help students prepare for the re-exam have already begun in the college, as in many others.

Students, however, feel the re-exam is an additional burden on them, as many had spent a major part of their study holidays working on the subject. Incidentally, the final-year students, many of who have arrears in the subject, are most stressed out.

“I am supposed to join an IT company this Monday but they won’t let me in without all my arrears cleared,” said K. Saravanan, a computer science student.

University officials said they are investigating the issue and will try not to delay the evaluation and the results.

Eighth semester paper correction:result:"insight"

As i was surfing for information i saw a site suggesting that the paper correction will be liberal .And the paper correction will be finished in two days .Thats all Fake information.


According to information gathered from college officials the correction  of eighth semester paper were started soon after one week after exam.Earlier correction used to be started after all the exams but this time because of common university every paper were corrected soon after a week of commencement of the paper.


Usually eighth semester correction is liberal and in this semester only most of the papers are cleared.


If you have written 3 Part b question correctly and attended some 2 marks you would pass the exam.But it depends on luck to.


Just pray and wait for the results.Wish all will pass out with flying colours.
