TANCET 2013 Registration

The candidates can register for the TANCET entrance test in any one of the modes given below :

a. Spot Registration :

Candidates can appear in person at the Co – ordinating Centres shown under item 8 with the following documents :

• Copy of X Std. or equivalent mark sheet
• Copy of XII Std. mark sheet or 3 years Diploma certificate
• Cash ( or ) Demand Draft.
• The SC / SCA / ST candidates belonging to Tamilnadu have to produce a copy of the permanent community certificate ( card format ) for availing fee concession.

b. Internet Registration :(how to get tancet 2013 application form online )

Candidates can register through internet by filling up the application form, downloading it and send it to the address shown under item 10 with the following enclosed :

• Copy of X Std. or equivalent mark sheet
• Copy of XII Std. mark sheet or 3 years Diploma certificate
• Demand Draft.
• An attested copy of the permanent community certificate ( card format ) issued by the competent authority of Government of Tamilnadu ( for SC / SCA / ST candidates belonging to Tamilnadu ).

TANCET 2013 Exam Fee

For candidates who register in person, a demand draft for  500/- (  250/- for SC / SCA / ST candidates belonging to Tamilnadu ) drawn in favour of “The Director,Entrance Examinations, Anna University,” payable at Chennai, obtained from any Nationalised Bank drawn on or after Second Week of Januray, 2013 or cash, should be submitted along with the filled in application, as the entrance test fee for any one of the programs M.B.A. ( or ) M.C.A. ( or ) M.E. / M.Tech. / M.Arch. / M.Plan.

Anna University TANCET 2013 application form is common for all the three entrance tests. Candidates have to submit only one TANCET 2013 application form.

A candidate applying for more than one program has to pay  500/- (  250/- for SC / SCA / ST candidates belonging to Tamilnadu ) for each additional program. A single demand draft is sufficient for one or more programs.

This time the correction is expected to commence in the end of December 2012 and get over before Pongal. The correction of the 1st sem exam start immediately after their exam and end in the month of February itself.

Expected Date - Anna University Results Date - Chennai

As the correction is expected to end before Pongal, Anna University results 2012 for affiliated colleges for 3rd,5th,7th semester and arrear results of 2nd,4th,6th,8th semester will be announced immediately after Pongal i.e. 4th week of January 2013.

Anna University resuls for 1st sem Jan 2013 will be announced by last week of February 2013.
We will post the exact date of results as soon as possible. Keep checking this results page regularly.

Extra Marks, Grace marks and out of syllabus Questions

Students reported that they found many wrong and out of questions in the Anna University exam 2012. Marks may be given for those questions. Grace marks can also be given for the subjects which was very difficult and if pass percentage is much reduced. This type of grace marks were given in previous exams and lets hope for the best.

Select M.I.T - Online Fee Payment April / May 2013 Enter the Registration Number in " Online Fees Collection Screen " and press " GO "button, Student name and photo and all other the details will appear. Click the " Pay " Button.
