Notification for Tamilnadu Engineering Admissions TNEA 2015

Applications for engineering admissions are invited from 6-may-2015 for the unified single window admission for first year B. E. / B. Tech. Degree Courses to the University Departments / University Colleges, Government and Government Aided Engineering Colleges and for the seats surrendered by the Self – Financing Engineering Colleges.

So before starting with how and where to get the APPLICATION FORM,lets know the deadlines date so that you wont miss anything.

1)Issue Dates and Timings other than Centre for Entrance Examinations and Admissions, Anna University, Chennai – 25:From 06.05.2015 to 27.05.2015  9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. (excluding Sundays and Public holidays)

2)Issue Dates and Timings at Centre for Entrance Examinations and Admissions, Anna        University, Chennai – 25: From 06.05.2015 to 29.05.2015 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. 
 (excluding Sundays and Public holidays) 

3)Last date for Submission of filled-in applications to “The Secretary, Tamil Nadu Engineering    Admissions, Anna University, Chennai – 600 025”. :29.05.2015 (6.00 p.m.) 

*How can i send my application?
Application can be send as follows :
1)In Person    2)By Post       3)Through Website    

1. In Person Candidates can obtain the Application Form in person from the 60 centres detailed in Anna University website by paying ` 500/- (` 250/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu, on production of a photocopy of the Permanent Community Card or electronic form / digitally signed e-Certificate) towards application fee, by cash/demand draft. (All Demand Drafts should be drawn in favour of “The Secretary, Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions” payable at Chennai, drawn on any Nationalised Bank dated on or after 05.05.2015. Candidates are instructed to write the name and address on the reverse side of the Demand Draft.)

2. By Post Application Forms can also be obtained by post from The Secretary, Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA), Anna University, Chennai – 600 025 by sending a requisition letter along with a Demand Draft for ` 700/- (` 450/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu with a photocopy of the Permanent Community Card or electronic form / digitally signed e-Certificate) and an address label written in capital letters to which the application form is to be mailed.

3. Through Website The candidates can also register through internet by logging on to www.annauniv.edu/tnea2015. The procedure for registration is available in the website.

NOTE:All Demand Drafts should be drawn in favour of “The Secretary, Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions” payable at Chennai, drawn on any Nationalised Bank dated on or after 05.05.2015. Candidates are instructed to write the name and address on the reverse side of the Demand Draft.

*Is there any quota or resevation?
No ,but Special Reservation form for Sports Quota along with Application should be submitted only in person at the office of the Secretary (TNEA), Anna University, Chennai – 600 025. Applications received by Post / Courier will not be considered for Sports Quota.

*Can i use one form for applying all branches?
For B.Arch., separate notification will be issued.
